To support this preserve, protected land or any other initiatives:
Upper Herring Lake Preserve is approximately 5 miles south of the town of Elberta on M 22. The preserve sign will be on the east side (next to an old schoolhouse). Please park just off of M-22 near the preserve sign.
There is a long two-track trail to a boardwalk which goes through a marsh to several ponds. To help navigate the preserve please check out and download our preserve map.
