A native of the Traverse City area Mike grew up in Suttons Bay spending his time outside hiking, sailing and riding bikes. He graduated from Michigan Technological University with B.S degrees in Applied Ecology and Wildlife Management. After his college years Mike lived on North Manitou Island year round doing research and volunteering for the National Park. As Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy’s Conservation Easement Steward, Mike now works with conservation easement owners throughout GTRLC’s service area. Mike and his wife Daniele are happy to be able to live and play in the area they grew up. In their free time they can be found hiking, cycling, or spending time outdoors with friends.
