Northern Michigan’s landscapes inspire and restore us. They are the vital and irreplaceable heart of our communities, as well as our economic base. Our landscapes are what make our region unique and a great place to live, work, and play. Connecting people to these amazing places is core the Conservancy’s mission.
Conservancy preserves are lands protected, owned and managed by the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy. Visitors to these properties can expect to experience similar signage, interpretive maps and kiosks.
OTHER PROTECTED LANDS
Other protected lands are defined as properties that GTRLC protects in partnership with local units of government, like townships or counties, which, once preserved, are managed by the municipalities. Amenities on these properties and rules regarding their use may vary and are at the discretion of the municipality.
