Facebook Works as an Engagement Tool…How?
Lets peek at the anatomy of one relationship. Greg says, “I followed the work you guys do in the Grand Traverse region for quite a few years now. I had wanted to help out, but was not really sure where to begin. I happened across the facebook notice of the (trail) build day at Glacial Hills Pathway and thought that would be an ideal way. I was excited to see that this pathway was being built near Bellaire as I have spent much of my life around Lake Bellaire. I wanted to help make it become reality.” Subsequently Greg became a new donor through the DOLE CHALLENGE, he said “I again saw a facebook post about the Dole Challenge and felt it was a worthy cause. I really enjoy the work the conservancy does in providing for the maintenance of our area’s wonderful natural beauty.” Wow. Thanks Greg!
